Payment methods we accept

We accept debit cards, credit cards, PayPal, Mercado Pago and OXXO Pay for eligible domain, hosting, business email, SSL certificate and managed service purchases. A crypto payment method may be enabled later when officially officially announced.

1. Universal scope of these terms

These Terms and Conditions govern access to, purchase, renewal, transfer, administration, support and use of services we offer as Sidemex Cloud Hosting y dominios S.A.S., including domains, domain availability search, domain transfers, Whois privacy, shared hosting, WordPress hosting, cPanel hosting, managed hosting, proprietary business email, mailboxes, SSL certificates, Wildcard SSL certificates, AutoSSL, DNS Sidemex Custom Manager Pro, payments, subscriptions, customer dashboard, guest checkout, automations, abuse reports and API tools that we may enable.

These terms apply to visitors, customers, guest buyers, account holders, service administrators, end users, authorized third parties, abuse reporters and anyone who uses, purchases or interacts with our services.

When a service has additional conditions, those conditions will be read together with this document. In case of conflict, the specific service condition will prevail unless we expressly state otherwise in writing.

2. General definitions

For these terms, “Sidemex,” “we,” “us,” “our” or “the company” means Sidemex Cloud Hosting y dominios S.A.S. “Customer,” “user,” “you” or “holder” means the individual or legal entity that visits, purchases, administers or uses a service. “Service” means any product, function, domain, certificate, hosting account, email, dashboard, DNS, API, support or digital resource we offer.

“Order” means a purchase or renewal request we receive. “Validation” means the technical, commercial, anti-fraud, availability, payment or compliance review that we may perform before activating a service. “Content” means files, databases, emails, images, text, scripts, applications, records, DNS zones, settings and any material stored, transmitted or published through the services.

3. Acceptance, authority and customer account

By using the website, creating an account, signing in, searching for a domain, submitting an order, completing a payment, accepting a quote, using the dashboard or keeping a service active, you accept these terms. If you use the services on behalf of a company, you represent that you have sufficient authority to legally bind that company.

We may reject, pause or request additional validation for orders when there are signs of fraud, abuse risk, inconsistent data, unconfirmed payments, pending manual requests, trademark conflicts, legal obligations, operational restrictions or any circumstance requiring internal review.

The customer must provide real, updated and sufficient data to process orders, issue notices, review payments, administer services and handle requests. We may request reasonable data or documents to verify an order, transfer, recovery, ownership, support request or security incident.

4. How we operate and administer services

We operate our services through technical, commercial, anti-fraud, support and compliance processes designed to deliver domains, hosting, DNS, email, SSL, payments and managed services in a secure and integrated way.

We do not disclose internal architecture, provisioning routes, specific technical components, commercial agreements, keys, credentials, internal procedures, monitoring systems or information that could compromise security, continuity, privacy, fraud prevention or platform stability.

The customer acknowledges that certain services may be subject to technical, availability, validation, review or compliance rules applicable to domains, payments, security, certificates, networks, digital services, current law or operational decisions we make to protect the customer, third parties and our platform.

5. Payments, billing, accepted methods and order validation

For eligible services, we accept payments by debit cards, credit cards, PayPal, Mercado Pago and OXXO Pay. Availability of each method may depend on country, currency, gateway, amount, service type, anti-fraud analysis, payment validation, bank settlement or our current policies. We may later announce a crypto payment method when it is officially available.

An order is not considered accepted or activated until payment is received, confirmed and validated by us. OXXO Pay payments, indirect transfers, delayed payments, anti-fraud reviews or manual confirmations may take longer to activate. We may request additional information to confirm ownership, reduce fraud or complete the order.

Prices may be shown in MXN, USD or another enabled currency. Amounts, taxes, fees, conversions, discounts, promotions, renewals and recurring charges may vary by currency, payment method, promotion validity, selected period, service availability and charge date. The customer must review the final total before paying.

Acceptance of debit cards, credit cards, PayPal, Mercado Pago and OXXO Pay is an essential part of our commercial experience for purchasing domains in Mexico, web hosting, cPanel hosting, WordPress hosting, business email, SSL certificates, professional DNS and managed services.

6. Renewals, auto-renewal and non-payment

The customer may choose, when the system allows it, between automatic renewal and manual renewal. Automatic renewal is subject to a valid payment method, service availability, current prices, anti-fraud validation and rules applicable to the product. Manual renewal requires the customer to complete payment before the applicable deadline.

If a payment fails, is rejected, reversed, disputed, remains pending or is not completed, We may grant a grace period of up to 3 calendar days, send one email reminder to the order or account contact, suspend the service, prevent changes, restrict access, cancel renewal, terminate the service and delete related data after 3 calendar days, depending on the service type and operational risk.

The grace period does not guarantee preservation of domains, emails, files, databases, certificates, DNS, licenses, promotions or settings when external rules, technical expiration, abuse, fraud, legal restrictions, recovery limits or operational impossibility exist.

7. Refunds, non-refundable charges and delays

Domains are non-refundable once registered, renewed, transferred, recovered or confirmed by the applicable system. Renewals, recoveries, restoration charges, completed transfer charges, already consumed services, activated periods, services suspended for abuse and services terminated for breach are non-refundable.

Setup fees may be refundable only when activation takes longer than reasonably expected based on the timeframe shown in the order, quote or our official communication, provided that the delay is directly attributable to us and not to payment validation, manual review, missing information, customer error, anti-fraud review, domain conflict, external dependency, force majeure or customer breach.

Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method where possible. Posting times depend on banks, gateways, card networks, wallets, processors and external systems. We may deny refunds when abuse, fraud, chargeback, impersonation, prohibited content, infringement, service consumption, intensive use, legal impact or breach of these terms exists.

8. Domain registration, search and availability

Domain search results show availability information for reference and may change at any time. A domain is not registered for the customer until we confirm the order, payment, availability, technical validation and successful registration. A domain appearing as available in search results is not a reservation, guarantee, registration promise or acquired right.

The customer accepts that domain registration is subject to TLD rules, internet policies, real-time availability, registration restrictions, technical validations, disputes, locks, third-party errors, holder data, payments, operational limits and our review. We may reject a domain order when it detects fraud, abuse, legal risk, trademark conflict, invalid data, impersonation, phishing, spam, malware, prohibited activity or relevant inconsistencies.

The customer must not register, transfer or use domains for phishing, fraud, impersonation, spam, malware, illegal content distribution, trademark abuse, typosquatting, misleading campaigns, unauthorized gambling, illegal products, crypto scams, misleading financial activity, promotion of violence, exploitation content, sanctions evasion, attacks, botnets or any activity that may affect us, third parties or end users.

9. Domain transfers and manual inspection

Domain transfers may require manual inspection by our team. The customer must provide correct information, sufficient authorization, authorization code where applicable, access to the administrative email, domain unlock, necessary confirmations and compliance with applicable periods or restrictions.

A transfer may be delayed, fail or be cancelled because of a domain lock, incorrect code, unconfirmed email, dispute, expiration, TLD policy, age restriction, pending payment, inconsistent data, fraud suspicion, lack of response, compliance review, registry rules or decision of the current operator. We do not guarantee exact transfer times.

If a transfer cannot be completed for causes not directly attributable to us, we may request corrections, cancel the order, keep payment as credit, apply administrative charges or issue the refund permitted according to the process status and service conditions.

10. Domain expiration, recovery and loss

The customer is responsible for renewing domains before expiration. If a domain expires, it may stop resolving, show a temporary page, lose active DNS, affect email, affect hosting, interrupt SSL, enter a grace period, enter restoration, generate additional charges, become subject to auction, be released or be registered by third parties, depending on the TLD and applicable rules.

We may attempt to recover an expired domain only when technically possible and commercially available. Recovery may require additional charges, manual validation, waiting time, data correction, immediate payment and customer confirmation. We do not guarantee recovery of expired, deleted, released, auctioned, disputed or third-party registered domains.

11. Free Whois privacy

We offer Whois privacy protection at no additional cost for eligible domain registrations. This protection is designed to reduce public exposure of contact data associated with domains, improve holder privacy and provide a safer registration experience for customers purchasing domains with us.

Availability of Whois privacy may depend on the TLD, registry rules, country, domain type, validations, legal obligations or technical requirements. When Whois privacy is available, we may activate it as part of the service at no additional cost to the customer.

Whois privacy does not authorize the use of domains for prohibited activities. Domains with privacy remain subject to these terms, acceptable use rules, compliance requests, abuse reports, disputes, validations, suspension and termination when applicable.

12. DNS Sidemex Custom Manager Pro

We may provide DNS Sidemex Custom Manager Pro for domains registered or administered through the platform. This tool allows creating, editing, restoring or administering DNS records related to websites, hosting, email, SSL, domain verification, business services and other compatible settings.

DNS changes, nameserver changes, A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, SRV, CAA or other records may cause propagation, interruptions, mail loss, website errors, SSL failures, verification conflicts or temporary downtime when configured incorrectly. The customer accepts that DNS modifications require technical care and that propagation may depend on caches, TTL, networks, resolvers and external systems.

We may provide default records for hosting, email, SSL, verification and proprietary services. The customer may edit or delete those records when the dashboard allows it, but understands that doing so may affect active services. We may offer options to restore default records, without guaranteeing perfect recovery when the customer has changed nameservers, deleted zones, altered critical records or used external providers.

13. Shared hosting, WordPress hosting, cPanel hosting and managed hosting

Our hosting services may include shared hosting, WordPress hosting, cPanel hosting, managed hosting, storage resources, databases, email, panels, certificates, DNS, tools, support and additional functions according to the purchased plan. Each plan may have limits for CPU, RAM, processes, inodes, storage, reasonable bandwidth, databases, emails, domains, subdomains, backups, migrations, scheduled tasks and support.

The customer must not use hosting for malware, phishing, spam, botnets, virus distribution, crypto mining, DDoS attacks, intrusion tools, unauthorized scanning, abusive proxies, aggressive scraping, warez, piracy, financial fraud, cloned pages, illegal sales, exploitation content, misleading campaigns, impersonation, counterfeiting, unsolicited bulk email or any use that degrades the platform, affects other customers, violates law or harms our reputation.

We may apply limits, suspensions, isolation, cleanup, script blocking, sending restrictions, temporary pauses, manual review or termination when a website consumes excessive resources, risks the platform, generates abuse, is compromised, receives valid reports or violates these terms. Shared hosting must not be used as mass storage, external backup repository, abusive CDN, unauthorized streaming server or high-consumption platform incompatible with the plan.

14. Proprietary business email and mailboxes

We may offer proprietary business email, mailboxes, webmail access, authentication, custom domains, filters, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, MX records and related tools. Email service is intended for legitimate business communications, not spam, unsolicited bulk sending, purchased lists, warm-up farms, spoofing, phishing, misleading campaigns or malicious content.

We may apply sending limits, mailbox limits, domain limits, reputation reviews, preventive blocks, quarantines, temporary restrictions, mailbox suspension or termination if we detect abuse, excessive bounces, complaints, fraudulent content, risky automated use, compromised credentials, evasion attempts or reputation impact.

Email deliverability depends on DNS configuration, domain reputation, content, recipients, anti-spam filters, blacklists, third-party policies and sender behavior. We do not guarantee inbox placement, open rate, third-party receipt or commercial results derived from email.

15. SSL certificates, AutoSSL and Wildcard SSL

We may offer free AutoSSL, paid SSL certificates and Wildcard SSL certificates for compatible domains. Issuance, renewal, installation, validation and operation of certificates may depend on domain control, DNS records, validation email, validation files, hosting status, technical availability, certificate rules, domain security and compliance with these terms.

An SSL certificate may fail, be delayed, revoked, not issued or require manual intervention when incorrect data, misconfigured DNS, non-resolving domain, incomplete validations, prohibited content, abuse reports, security block, risky use, non-payment, domain expiration or customer technical changes exist.

The customer must not use our SSL certificates to secure phishing, fraud, impersonation, malware, cloned pages, trademark abuse, credential theft, misleading campaigns or illegal activities. We may revoke, remove or disable certificates associated with abuse or breach.

16. Backups, restorations and conservation responsibility

We may offer paid backups and, in some cases, courtesy backups as an operational or support measure. Courtesy backups are not a permanent obligation, availability guarantee, historical archive, data insurance or restoration promise. The customer should maintain its own updated copies of files, databases, emails, settings, DNS, applications and critical content.

Restorations may depend on the plan, available date, backup integrity, account size, service status, payment, suspension, technical compatibility, security, absence of abuse and operational viability. We may deny restorations if active malware, fraud, breach, non-payment, definitive deletion, retention expiration or platform risk exists.

17. Acceptable Use Policy

It is prohibited to use any of our services for illegal, abusive, deceptive, invasive, harmful or internet-security-hostile activities. This prohibition includes, without limitation, phishing, fraud, impersonation, malware, ransomware, botnets, spam, purchased lists, attacks, unauthorized scanning, distribution of stolen credentials, vulnerability exploitation, child abuse content, threats, harassment, piracy, intellectual property infringement, sanctions evasion, unauthorized gambling, illegal products, financial scams, crypto scams, cloned pages, typosquatting, trademark abuse and any activity that may cause technical, legal, reputational or economic harm.

We may investigate reports, request information, block resources, suspend services, remove content, restrict access, preserve evidence, contact the customer, notify actions by email, cooperate with authorities when applicable and terminate services when the risk justifies it.

18. Abuse reports, phishing reports and API for authorized reporters

Reports of phishing, malware, fraud, trademark abuse, spam, impersonation or illegal content must be sent to [email protected] with as much evidence as possible: exact URL, domain, screenshots, date, description, email headers if applicable, reporter details and risk explanation. Incomplete reports may require additional information.

We may enable tools, forms or abuse reporting API access for authorized reporters, researchers, security entities, trusted partners or internal teams. Access to such API is not public by default and may require validation, limits, specific format, responsible use, verifiable evidence and acceptance of additional rules.

Submitting a report does not guarantee automatic suspension. We will review available information and may take proportional measures, including blocking, suspension, correction request, evidence preservation, customer notification, legal escalation or report closure when abuse is not established.

19. API, automations, dashboard and guest checkout

The customer dashboard, checkout systems, automations, internal or public APIs, payment integrations, automatic provisioning, validations and administration tools are designed to simplify service purchases and operations. We may limit, change, pause or disable features for security, maintenance, abuse, fraud, legal changes, technical improvements or commercial decisions.

Guest purchases are allowed when enabled by the system. After successful payment and validated order, we may create a customer account using the email used in the purchase and send access instructions, order status, service information or activation steps to that same email.

Automations do not remove the possibility of manual review. We may stop automatic provisioning when inconsistencies, risk, sensitive domain, pending transfer, unsettled payment, abuse suspicion, technical error, missing information, service limit or need for human intervention exists.

20. Suspension, termination and data deletion

We may immediately suspend, restrict, block, disable, pause, remove content, cancel orders or terminate services in case of abuse, phishing, malware, spam, fraud, chargebacks, disputed payments, prohibited use, legal impact, excessive consumption, security risk, authority order, severe report, breach or suspension caused by applicable technical rules. When the situation allows it, we will send confirmation or notice by email.

After termination, cancellation, non-payment or uncorrected suspension, we may delete data, files, emails, databases, backups, settings, DNS zones, records, accounts and associated resources after 3 calendar days, unless a legal obligation, investigation, technical retention, dispute, paid recovery or internal decision indicates a different period.

Reactivation may require payment, validation, abuse correction, content removal, data update, acceptance of conditions, manual review or purchase of a different plan. We do not guarantee reactivation when the service was terminated for abuse, fraud, illegality, severe risk or technical impossibility.

21. Privacy, personal data and legal requests

We process personal and technical data necessary to operate services, process payments, validate orders, administer domains, activate hosting, issue certificates, administer email, provide support, prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations, handle abuse reports and improve platform security. Data processing is complemented by the Privacy Policy published by us.

We may receive legal, administrative, regulatory, judicial, compliance, intellectual property, security, abuse or investigation requests. When appropriate, we may review, preserve, restrict, disclose or deliver information according to applicable law, valid processes, third-party rights, legal defense, user safety, platform protection and internal policies.

The customer must not upload, store or process sensitive, regulated or high-risk personal data without sufficient legal basis, adequate security measures, consent where applicable and compatibility with the purchased plan.

22. Intellectual property, trademarks and third-party content

The customer is responsible for having the necessary rights, licenses, authorizations or permissions over domains, trademarks, trade names, logos, images, text, software, databases, templates, emails, files and any content used with the services. We may act upon reasonable claims of infringement, impersonation, trademark abuse, copyright, trade secrets or illegal content.

Using our domain, hosting, email, SSL or DNS services does not grant rights over third-party trademarks and does not legitimize activities that confuse users, imitate entities, impersonate companies, capture credentials, sell counterfeits or infringe rights.

23. Disclaimers, external services and non-guaranteed results

We will not be responsible for registry failures, domain operator failures, TLD rules, DNS propagation, customer misconfiguration, third-party interruptions, panel issues, plugin conflicts, application vulnerabilities, payment gateways, bank declines, OXXO Pay delays, email deliverability issues, SEO positioning, search engine ranking, domain availability changes, caches, external blocks, blacklists, attacks, force majeure or decisions outside our reasonable control.

Services are offered subject to commercial and technical availability. We work to maintain stability, security and continuity, but we do not guarantee that services will be uninterrupted, error-free, immune to attacks, compatible with all software, capable of achieving specific commercial results or adequate for critical uses requiring fault tolerance without special architecture.

24. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims related to a service will be limited to the amount actually paid by the customer to us for the specific service giving rise to the claim during the affected period. We will not be liable for lost revenue, lost sales, lost data, reputational harm, business interruption, lost opportunities, replacement costs, indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential damages.

Nothing will limit liability that cannot be limited under applicable law. However, the customer acknowledges that our prices reflect this allocation of risk and that higher criticality services may require managed solutions, paid backups, redundancy, monitoring, advanced security or specific written agreements.

25. Indemnification

The customer agrees to indemnify, defend and hold us harmless, including our representatives, employees, officers, operational allies and collaborators from claims, losses, damages, fines, penalties, costs, fees and expenses arising from service use, customer content, breach of these terms, abuse, fraud, intellectual property infringement, personal data, acts of end users, website operations, emails sent, domains registered, DNS settings, disputes, chargebacks or any conduct that legally, technically, economically or reputationally affects us.

26. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms to reflect legal, technical, commercial, operational, security, payment, service, acceptable use, product or compliance changes. The current version will be published on our website with an update date. Continued use of services after an update means acceptance of the current version.

When a change is material and significantly affects active services, We will seek to notify it by email, dashboard, banner, website notice or reasonable means, except for urgent changes due to security, law, abuse or operational continuity.

27. Governing law, jurisdiction and contact

These terms are governed by the applicable laws of Guanajuato, Mexico and by Mexican federal provisions that apply. Unless a mandatory legal provision states otherwise, the parties will seek to resolve disputes in good faith through support, internal review or negotiation before starting formal proceedings.

Our official contacts: general support [email protected], abuse reports [email protected] and legal notices [email protected]. Requests must include enough information to identify the account, domain, service, order, evidence or reason for contact.
